About MendwellPeople were choosing
People were choosing
therapists by photo.
Two of us had spent a decade in practice watching good matches happen by luck. Clients picked the kindest-looking face, then left after two sessions because the approach was wrong. Mendwell started as a fix for that: say what you’ve been feeling, see who fits, and see who doesn’t.
“The most useful line on any profile turned out to be the one about who you’re not right for.”
What we won’t doThree promises,
Three promises,
written down.
They shape the practice more than anything we’ve added.
01We won’t
Take you on if we can’t help
If no one here fits, we say so and point you to someone who does.
02We won’t
Publish reviews of therapists
Many professional codes discourage testimonials. We show registration and fit instead.
03We won’t
Sell or share your data
Notes are encrypted and never leave the therapist’s record. No ad trackers on booking pages.

We count referrals out as a success: it means someone reached the right door sooner.

If something goes wrong, you can write to the person whose job it is to put it right.
