The short version
- Your session notes are encrypted and only your therapist can read them.
- We never sell data, and there are no ad trackers on booking pages.
- Insurers get an invoice, never notes, and only if you ask.
- You can download or delete your account data at any time.
What we collect
Your name, contact details and booking history, so we can book, remind and invoice. If you write something in the ‘anything to know first’ box, it is passed to your therapist and stored with their notes, not in our booking system.
What we never collect
Your location, your contacts, or anything from social media. Our site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers on booking pages.
Who sees your notes
Only your therapist. Our staff cannot open them. A therapist may share information without consent only where the law requires it, for example to protect someone from serious harm; they will explain this at the start.
How long we keep things
Booking records for seven years, because tax law requires it. Session notes for as long as your therapist’s professional code requires, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete what we hold. Write to our data protection lead at privacy@mendwell.example; we reply within one month.
