There is no timetable for loss

Samuel Okoro
Counsellor · person-centred

People are often told grief comes in stages. In practice it comes in weather: some days clear, some days not, and no forecast.

When it might help to talk

When you can’t talk to the people around you about it any more. When it has stopped changing at all. When something small knocks you over and you don’t know why.

Fortnightly sessions are common. There is no right number.
